All of them are garbage, no exception.

I like all of them, some more than others, so I'd probably give it an 9/10. Just wish they were better in battle.

Not really a fan, like any generation there's some good ones at least but most of them miss the mark for me and a few genuinely bother me for petty reasons. Only generation I can't make a full team of newcomers suitable to my tastes. It doesn't help most of them are also mediocre at best in PvP battle, so they never really grow on me that way, though at least none of them are really Ledian or Delcatty tier "useless even in PvE" stuff.

I also really hate Ohmura's art for them. I hope Sugi or someone else who can actually replicate his style redraws all of them for USUM.

Not a big fan of the Rockruff line.
Komala was an interesting, but disappointing concept.
Pikipek line is probably my favorite "regional bird".
Yungoos line was a neat concept that was poorly timed.
Grubbin line has amazing designs, but Chargabug's useless ability and Vikavolt's horrendous speed sap any fun away.
Drampa is just great.
Bruxish is mediocre.
Cutiefly is one of my favorite lines this gen.
Togedemaru is a pretty solid pikaclone, and I can't help but wonder if associating the electric hedgehog pokemon with a fat autist was intentional.
Salandit line is awful. Ugly designs, stats don't work well with gimmick, and the unique typing kinda sucks.
Stufful line is great, and I'm surprised we haven't gotten something similar before.
Mimikyu, while overrated, definitely deserves some of the copious adoration it gets.
Wimpod line is overrated entirely.
Bounsweet and Steenee are great designs, but Tsareena is ugly. That's one mangosteen I wouldn't drink juice from.
Comfey is comfy. Reminds me of Klefki, and that's a good thing.
Mudbray is a "literally my mom's [animal]" we haven't had yet for another "normal" animal.
Minior is among my top favorites of this gen.
Fomantis is cute, but I haven't used anything from its line yet. Definitely snuggleworthy line.
Oricorio is one of my favorite flying-types, but Revelation Dance could use some more power.
Sandygast line is great, and up there in my favorites of this gen.
Wishiwashi was fun in the playthrough, and has a neat concept, but it's just kinda there.
My only complaint with Pyukumuku is that its HP is a bit too low. Otherwise, perfect.
Morelull is my absolute favorite Gen 7 line, with Shiinotic being among my favorite pokemon.
Turtonator was a disappointing gimmick.
Crabrawler was a disappointing gimmick.
Passimina was a disappointing gimmick, who's a bit less disappointing in the TCG.
Oranguru was a mediocre gimmick.
Mareanie's line are cute stallmon, but the designs just fall flat for me.

Dhelmise is an amazing objectmon; love the idea of haunted kelp wielding wreckage from a boat.
Dewpider got my hopes up for a bacteriophage pokemon, but Araquanid disappointed me.
Jangmo-o's line are my favorite pseudos in terms of design.
Type: Null line were disappointing gimmicks.
Fini > Koko > Lele > Bulu. Fini is the only Tapu I outright like, and she's my second favorite legendary in Gen 7.
Nihilego is best UB.
Buzzwole is a nice Jojo's reference.
Kartana is a cute! Cute!
Celesteela is a second Skarmory for stall experiments.
Necrozma is one of my favorite legendaries ever.
Xurkitree is a disappointing gimmick.
Pheromosa is a Deoxys clone that's less aesthetically pleasing.
Guzzlord is a disappointing gimmick.
Cosmog is a dead meme.
Lunala is cute, and nice to fap to, but that's it.
Cosmoem and Solgaleo are both really fun in BH.
Magearna is okay. Steampunk/clockwork stuff is overdone.
Marshadow is mediocre.

Something I really like about this gen is the specific animal/plant inspirations

The ones circled are the ones I really like. Dhelmise is one of my favorite from this gen, Lunala was the reason I bought Moon instead of Sun. The one pokemon I don't really like from this gen is Dartrix, I have no problems with another design.

Starters are lackluster.
Bounsweet line is pretty unique for a plant wife, but we don't need more goddamn plant wives. Degenerates, debate me.
Oricorio is meh.
I could do without the monkeys.
