Does Syncronize work on Mespirit in Platinum? Been planning on

All roaming Pokémon's IV and Nature are generated in the first encounter. The only way to change their IV and Nature is to defeat it, defeat the Champion, and then trigger the event again (Only works on Platinum and all games released after it).

Thanks God BW2 removed Roaming Pokémon (Legendary Birds on Kalos are anything but Roaming Pokémon).
