I know it's just art, but I love how alive and full of wild life these pics are. Lucky to see anything more than a squirrel or rabbit outside, but in the anime, games, and these pics, there are wild pokemon aplenty that don't seem to care if a human is near.

That and also there are many comfy places in game that you can just chill at.

Not him but can you post some tips? I've always wanted to be able to draw nice landscapes and backgrounds cause those are always the comfiest to me but I never got to learn about any of it in art class.

That's probably my weakest subject, but I can try. The biggest thing with any drawing is that you want to simplify to the very gist and then build up. With backgrounds that's understanding the foreground, midground, and backgrounds the you want to understand. Foreground is the most detailed, with the background being the least ( faded and blue.) Additionally understanding perspective helps a lot. The link below is a real helpful book on it.

It's also good to study artists who are draw backgrounds well so you can steal their techniques. I really like Ivan Bilibin and Hiroshi Yoshida

Ur cute anon and mostly correct.
Only two things I think are different.
The thing on the wall is a surfboard and has a lightning bolt symbol on it as a slight reference to surfing pikachu. Secondly the thing next to the backpack and pokeball is a substitute doll i believe.
