I find myself liking Physically strong Pokemon more often than special ones, but I can appreciate both and really like when a Pokemon can be made strong with either like Lucario.

Entirely this.
While I have more fun using a special attacker, I generally keep my teams half and half. 4 - 2 at worst.
If your team doesn't work together it's rather useless.
