Yeah I hate show sluggish moving between boxes feels in SM. They somewhat made up for it by removing all the other shit from the PC but with GF they always have to go 1 step forward 1 step back.

The 3ds is 7years old, they're pushing it to it's limit that's why it sometimes get a little laggy, and that's why pokemon will move on switch soon enough

Not him, but since you're supposed to be able to exit the PC fast, the rest of the game has to stay in memory and possibly share some graphic settings to ensure fast operation.

The only reason the PC is 30 fps in Gen 7 is because Game Freak is incompetent. not because the 3DS is weak.

The PC gets loaded in the Pokemon Center. The Pokemon Center hasn't gotten a graphical upgrade so drastic to justify the PC dropping to 30 fps. It's just sheer incompetence on Game Freak's part.

And that's for an important character. Generic NPC models usually have less polygons.
