i don't use reddit. feel free to point out anything you might find objectionable about my post but please keep in mind that this thread is supposed to be about lets plays of pokemon games.

i understand you might not find my chosen image to be amusing but please keep in mind that humour is subjective, and so what you find crass or lowbrow could be seen as funny to other people. also, i realise that some people dislike watching lets play videos, i understand this perspective but there are opther threads that you could post in that are more suited to your interests. thanks

Vinny's X play through from Vinesauce is a pretty nice and comfy watch, because it was his first Pokemon game in years since Red, and his reaction to newer mons were the best.

LPs are boring as fuck. Game Grumps playing pokemon is mildly entertaining though because they're so bad. Watching someone excel at a kids game=boring. Watching grown ass adults fuck up on a kids game = mildly entertaining. But even they get tiresome.

if you treat LPs as podcasts with a game you like going in the background, they're more enjoyable. watching someone good at pokemon play pokemon (non competetively) isn't inherently interesting, but it's only uninteresting if the game is what the people doing the commentary focus on
