I can't play another SM, with all the little things that bothered me, but with a new fresh paint. Hell, I can't even play previous games because everything now feels boring and not fun.

I don't see how it's a bad thing, knowing too many things about a game that's about to be released makes playing it for the first time less enjoyable. I'm still pissed I got spoiled on pretty much everything interesting in Sun/Moon, especially Red and Blue appearances.

Because the hype is better than the games now. Trailers and teasers let people fill in the blanks themselves, and these are always filled with ideas which far surpass what's released.

GF sells hype now and people want that more than the game itself. I remember those trailers showing Tapu KoKo rushing into battle against Buzzwole, and I also remember that amounting no nothing more in the game than exactly that two second scene. But it felt exciting imagining how great the game seemed at the time. This cycle is GF's fault.
