I started with Blue.

The only true fun I had with them was with the updated E4/Champion, and the music didn't make my ears bleed.

But everything else was still as bland as the original R/S.

That's bullshit and you know it, considering one of the main complaints about the game is >muh frontier

Gen 3 is my favourite, didnt like ORAS too much because of how easy they made gen VI.

I started with silver, but really got into it with R/S. OR/AS are watered down too easy versions of their original titles. Like, Roxxanne is down TWO LEVELS from her ace. Also they shoehorned in story where it really didn't belong. Pic unrelated.
