Yeah... There's no point without new mons. This game has literally no replay value at this point, beyond the meta.

i know a lot of people wouldn't like it, but i'm totally fine with it, as long as it has a big pokedex and it has mostly later gen pokemon i would buy it.
i mean, new pokemon are exciting, but if you offer me a bunch of really cool new things, that to me is more exciting and fun.

that's not a valid argument as to why we can't get new pokemon. There's still plenty of designs/concepts that gamefreak could do for pokemon in gens to come.

OP here. Honestly I really hope they do this cause that would (hopefully) mean they put more work into everything else rather than having half the resources going into designing 70 shitty mons and half going into designing a shitty region and a half-assed plot.

I would be mad if we didn't get any new Pokémon .

Well I mean it would be a nice detail if it actually had a good plot like any decent RPG. But yeah I would love it if it had a huge world so I could replay it past the main plot.

GF is not going to ever take any sort of risk that big, especially with this game being essential to helping the Switch become a big success.
