It comes down to either Cynthia vs Lance or Cynthia vs Stone for the finals. I think Alder would surprise people with an early upset win. Blue would be knocked out early. Diantha is shit. Iris and Kukui are only there to enhance the finalists.

Cynthia wins. Decisively over Lance. Barely over Steven Stone.

Yes, and in the battle tree in SM it's shown that she has both Garchompite and Lucarionite, meaning she could potentially take either of them to Mega if she needed.
