It will be considered as both as all games but Gen 1 and the original Gen 4 are.
We all agree the Gen 1 games were good for their time but the bugs and shit and slow speed and ugly sprites make them... less than idea to play.
And Diamond and Pearl as so slow it makes people want to kill themselves

SM was the most boring entry to date. There's no way in hell I'm replaying the same story again. Those cutscenes are a drag.
