Can we reflect on just how garbage the DS games were?

HG/SS had terrible level scaling

D/P were slow

B/W Had no real variety in Pokemon. New designs were just re-designs of gen 1

B/W 2 Added more variety, but had a stupid story

Platinum is the only DS game I would revisit.

Like, Pokemon got so fucking bad that the so called "knockoffs" were surpassing them in quality. Most notably the Fossil Fighters games (Shame they ruined the franchise with the third game). Fossil Fighters Champions is literally everything Black and White should have been.

Simple.

Also, they shamelessly ripped Triple and Rotation battles from Fossil Fighters.
