Besides USUM is an alternate world, no matter how you look at it so maybe this is yet another universe as opposed to those two in SM

Nah, post-game other world is just a direct parallel of the main one. It's why the PC and item pickups are consistent between the two, the you from that universe takes all the same actions in the "main" universe. That isn't taking a Cosmog either, it's creating a new one.

That location and even possibly making a new Cosmog will likely be important in USUM's plot though.
