Debatable. Kalos has some nice areas and music, but quite a few locales feel like "obligatory X area in an RPG" that otherwise are unnecessary. Why is part of Kalos snow themed but not up high in mountainland?

That's not a good thing. Kalos' dex was way too fucking big. You were more likely to find a Pokemon you've encountered 15 other times than you would a new Pokemon
