>gf releases the offensive version of eviolite, boosting attack and spe. attack not by x1.5 but x2
biggest change in the meta, or would it be the same?
>>32903158
>Choice Band/Specs but better and with no one-move restriction
It would be absurdly broken
>>32903158
>gf releases the offensive version of eviolite,
Gooood.
>boosting attack and spe. attack
Goooooooood.
>not by x1.5 but x2
So does regular Eviolite get the buff too?
>>32903164
for who?
>>32903158
Keep it at 1.5, otherwise it's entirely too busted.
Either way, I imagine Scyther would see some additional usage due to it.
>>32903164
still, not a single monnot called chansey or porygonin UU or higher can use it
>>32903188
I can see porygon 2 strong in OU too
>>32903158
Depends on how many pokemon get affected by it. I don't think there'd be many viable carriers.
>>32903218
>rhydon
105/130/120/45/45/40
260 attack stab eq is pretty nasty, but still, that type
>scyther
70/110/80/55/80/105
220 tecnichian aerial ace + quick attack, not sure if OU material, sneaky pebbles to strong
>gligar
65/75/105/35/65/85
good type, not so good bulk, still interesting
>magmar
65/95/57/100/85/93
single stab, but mixed with good speed
>haunter/kadabra
45/50/45/115/55/95
40/35/30/120/70/105
frail as fuck, both weak to knock off, but fasthaunter still has levitate so, that's something
>porygon 2
85/80/90/105/95/60
OU material
dusclops, shelgon and maybe other pokemon may be interesting too, at least for UU, tangela? magneton?
>>32903158
Keep it at 1.5x and make it boost Speed as well and it'd be fantastic.
If you really want to fuck the meta sideways, have it and Eviolite count Megas as evolutions.
>Eviolite Slowbro except it's not a meme anymore
>Offensive Eviolite Garchomp
>the unyielding holy empire of Salamence
>>32903158
The x2 might make it worth it, but would probably have a less impact as pre-knock off buffed Eviolite did
>>32903418
fug too stronk; the x1.5 speed maybe is a good idea tho, to counter the knock off buff>>32903432
>>32903395
there's also Sneasel. Life orb Weavile would probably still be better, but Sneasel would be good in UU
>>32903473
252 Atk Life Orb Weavile Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 259-305 (36.8 - 43.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+2 252 Atk Sneasel Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 339-399 (48.2 - 56.7%) -- 89.1% chance to 2HKO
Thoughts?
>>32903486
Being faster than Greninja is nice, but not nice enough to keep Weavile relevant with Super Offensive Eviolite Sneasel around.
>Vigoroth with 120 or even 160 base attack
>No shitty hindering ability
>Speed still good enough to make it a decent sweeper
>>32903158
Magneton outclasses Magnezone
Haunter becomes the UU Gengar
Scyther drastically rises
Zweilous becomes relevant in NU or something
Electabuzz is a lower tier volt switcher successfully
Combusken probably becomes viable somewhere too
>>32903158
Scyther goes to AG
>>32903158
>everything gets light ball
retarded
How would Swift Swim Anorith fare?
>>32903473
I also forgot electabuzz, togetic, piloswine and speed boost yanma/combuskenI only see real potential in the speed boost users tho
>>32903536
>everything
>a bunch of shitmons
>Trapinch with 200 base attack
Scyther plz...
>>32903522
>>Vigoroth with 120 or even 160 base attack
That's not how stats work. Multiply the actual stat by the modifier, not the base. Fully invested Vigoroth would effectively hit 144 or 209 base Attack.
>>32903552
Trapinch would hit 249.
>Torracat becomes objectively better than incineroar
>>32903552
>Implying one of the slowest Pokemon in the game with unevolved/unboosted bulk would be even remotely useful despite the raw damage boost
>>32903595
I hate to do this meme but its already insane on trick room teams. I run one with a life orb and it has swept many times.
>>32903606
>Trapinch will never stop hoarding the good abilities that it's evolutions could've had
>>32903185
Maybe the following examples will help you realize the scale of the situation anon:
>Sneasel becomes 20% stronger than choice band weavile without being restricted to one move, doesn't get life orb recoil that usually wears weavile down, and 115 speed, while slower than weavile's 125, is still very good in OU.
>Scyther has higher attack than mega mawile, higher special attack than tapu lele, technician wing attack, brutal swing, vacuum wave, roost and 105 speed. Stealth rock you say? that won't stop it.
>Type null becomes better than silvally forever and ever by having the same attack as mega heracross and the same special attack as mega mewtwo y (more or less, depends on IV and EV investment)
>Haunter's special attack is now higher than shuckle's defense. While 95 speed is not the best in today's meta, it OHKOs every pokemon that doesn't resist shadow ball or isn't a dedicated special wall like tapu fini.
>Trapinch becomes the best meme for as long as arena trap remains unbanned
>Pure Power Meditite
>>32903549most pokémon are shitmons
>>32903640
252+ Atk Mewtwo-Mega-X Focus Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Avalugg: 332-392 (84.2 - 99.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Avalugg: 228-270 (57.8 - 68.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Groudon-Primal Fire Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Avalugg in Harsh Sunshine: 236-282 (59.8 - 71.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+2 252+ Atk Pure Power Meditite High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Avalugg: 426-504 (108.1 - 127.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
>>32903635
>>32903704
we need this, imagine a future with scyther, frogadier or magmar strong in OU
Would Eternal Floette be able to use this? Would be absolutely busted, probably.
Does this make Salandit usable?

doubling might be overdoing it
>>32903834
>might be
Yeah, "dude lmao what it we gave a Huge Power item to a bunch of things that can outspeed the majority of the metagame" miiight be overdoing it
neat, with this item kadabra would get a guaranteed 2KO on chansey
not bad for a special sweeper I'd say
>>32903779
>Light of ruin now erases everything not called heatran, magnezone or mawille
>>32903853
making a bunch of new glass cannons for the meta while giving new life to old mons doesn't sound too bad for me; stall would die and meme sets would kill smogon and its monster, OU; probably little cup and others would ban that item but still, i think it worths it; x2 in both offensive stats or x1.5 to attack/sp.attack/speed; anything less only works for porygon 2 and maybe some ability shills
>>32903158
scyther for OU
>>32903588
this
>>32903779
It can't use eviolite, so probably not.
>>32903779
normal eviolite doesn't work in it, why offensive eviolite would? (yes, I´m mad)
