How many pokemon do you take for your team in a new playthrough? I haven't used a full 6 slot team since Gen 1/2. Since gen 3 I've been sticking to 3 pokemon teams, with HM slaves in the back. If I feel really frisky, I would get a fourth. Sure leveling up fewer pokemon makes the games a bit easier, but it also makes them less hectic.

I play a full team unless it's a game I've already exhaustively played before and just want to play with mons I hadn't prior. For one playthrough of HG my team was like Meganium, Dunsparce, and then a few HM slaves (that I didn't use at all).
