The first being battle maison super doubles in gen 6 and a Leafeon crit me 3 times in a row with leaf blade and had a quick claw activate 2 of those times

And the second was battle tree super singles when I was trying to set up swords dance with Mimikyu and the opposing Weavile hits me with ice punch, freezing me on turn one and breaking Mimikyus disguise, thawing out the next turn, only for the Weavile to freeze me AGAIN with a second ice punch immediately! I did have it saved originally so I could prove the bullshit, but this battle happened long before the updates happened and so it was deemed incompatible with the current version of the game.

Its because of those two battles that I legitimately have a seething hatred for Leafeon and Weavile now.

Yesterday I got to a 39 chain for Eevee in Pearl. I've never been that high with Eevee. I caught the 38th one, which meant a 2% chance of the next fucking up and it did. That was the last Eevee I needed to chain to max out the odds of a shiny. It was the crucial moment which I needed to work and it didn't. I felt like the RNG was sentient and was just deliberately trolling me.

I might not try to chain that little fucker again because of how fed up I am of it.

I've been randomly swept by Quick Claw Sandlash multiple times. Once in Emerald, and once in Battle Revolution. Both in extremely crucial moments. In Emerald, I was playing on an emulator, so I used tools to try every possible combination of moves from a certain point in the battle (when the pokemon before Sandslash was sent out), and no matter what strategy I pulled, that damn Sandslash still had Quick Claw activate every time, and he pulled off crit Earthquakes if he couldn't KO with a regular Earthquake.

Some funny ones have been this instance where it was a duel between Pellipers, and on turn 1, the opponent burned me with Scald, but it took me like 17 turns to get a burn. I outstalled him because I ran Stockpile, but it was some bullshit. Or when in AG, I froze a Mega-Fug turn 1 with Mewtwo Ice Beam and the opponent just immediatly forfeited.

I lost an Emerald Randomlocke a few days ago by somebody's Porygon2. It was defensive as hell and every time I reach its HP to red health, it would just spam Recover. It got max Defense from using Defense Curl a number of times its used Psyeam, it either landed a critical hit and/or confused my Pokemon. It destroyed my entire team.

I love the Porygon line and Porygon-Z is in my Top 20 favorite Pokemon, but after that battle, I kind of hate Porygon2 right now.

Assuming it was Huge Power, you could've just run around in circles for an hour to get its Happiness up and evolved it into a Marill. From there you just level it up with the rest of your party, teaching it any compatible Physical moves along the way, right up until it hit level ~20 and learned Aqua Tail. Imo Twister Gyarados is even worse considering you need 400 candies to evolve Karp and only 50 to evolve Growlithe.

Having said that, I've evolved 5 Growlithe in GO and never got one with Fire Blast, best I have to this day is Fire Fang/Flamethrower.
