I disagree. Make it so that illusion works like disguise: when you hit zoroark the first time but you don't know it is a zoroark yet, it doesn't take any damage but the illusion is lifted.

Also, make zoroark's signature move, night daze appear as dark pulse while illusion is working.

Now zoroark has a free turn to nasty plot and since you can't kill it with a single u-turn it becomes way more dangerous.

They had thick skulls with bone tissue that heals pretty fast. It's still disputed if they butt heads or just ran into the sides of others, but Rampardos literally has a rock head unlike they did.

reminder that Mega Aerodactyl got banned from STABmons when shit likeD-Dance Kyurem-B with an actual reliable physical ice move, Spore Ferrothorn, V-Create Mega-Charizard-X, and Silvally with EVERY MOVE (that isn't outright banned) POSSIBLE IN ITS MOVEPOOL, and out of all of those, Mega Aero is the one that got the boot.

Mega Aero would easily be suspected if it got Head Smash and Brave Bird.

Aerodactyl is good in VGC and personally I wouldn't give it something better than Unnerve it's a very solid supporter with excellent speed and decent attack that gets STAB for the most obnoxious and spammable move in the format, Rock Slide.

Buffing its offenses isn't the right direction, I'd give it some utility ability instead.

what about this? any attack that breaks illusion deals half damage, but if you attack first the illusion is broken but that attack always crits kindof like a sneak attack, and illusion resets as long as you have more than 1 pokemon on a swapout

What does that have to do with anything? Talonflame's boon was that he single handedly removed any scarfer and speed booster and could also set up and invest in bulk without really worrying about speed.
