>IVs and being shiny were related back in Gen2
>This meant competitive pokemon were also shiny
>This meant shiny parents could potentially had shiny offsprings
>This meant pokemon from Gen1 could be shiny based on certain stats
>All of this will come back
>And you will be able to transfer good shiny competitive pokemon to SM/USUM
This is fine

But aren't the "certain ivs" needed to be shiny, bad? I know it isn't the 31 across the board mons that are sparkling, right?

>Get shiny
>Bottle cap
Not that hard anymore anyway.
But the IVs are reassigned when transferring you dumbass.
IV's shouldn't be an issue becuase they are random after transfering. I think the most important issue is breeding with a shiny pokemon in G/S gave the offspring a 1/64 chance of also being shiny due to how Shinyness is based on IVs. I'm sure pokemon transfer will let shiny pokemon stay shiny after scattering their ivs. This could cause a lot of shinies to be easily bred and transfered, lowering their rarity. If someone manages to find a shiny ditto is GS They're set for life

Shiny ditto can be obtained by a glitch from transferring a shiny Gyarados from GS to red and blue. Look it up
