Game freak create all kinds of new Pokémon.

They'll never change from Grass/Fire/Water because it's a basic elemental triangle that's easy for newcomers to figure out using real-world logic

While Fighting/Psychic/Dark is more abstract, and not a true triangle since Dark is fully immune to Psychic rather than resisting it
