Hey /vp/ what's the deal with Ghetsis right arm? In the anime and the games, you never see it with the exception of ONCE; the intro cinematic with the crowning of N. In the cutscenes his arm is horribly discolored, and it isn't just shading, as it is his ENTIRE arm.
Rumor is that his Hydreigon is responsible for that as well as his right eye being blind/missing, as it has the lowest base friendship possible. Leave it to Ghetsis to mistreat a three headed evil dragon and expect no consequences.

You might have answered your own question, OP, it must've been his Hydreigon who did it to him (for whatever reason, remains unknown).
I believe I've seen some fan art that actually portrays him struggling with his Hydreigon, Japanese ones. Maybe Japan thought the same.
Alternatively, it could have been Reshiram/Zekrom who defended themselves from him.

there was a theory on here ~5 years ago that it was from an encounter Kyurem, since it has been awake the whole time, it acted hostile toward humans in the legends, and frostbite can cause skin discoloration. there's no other evidence for it though
