Nah, I loved Torchic, but Blaziken was way too huge a leap for me and looked like a weird guy in a birdsuit, so I basically hated it at first sight. Imagine being a normie Tepig/Litten fan and seeing Emboar/Incineroar. That's basically what Blaziken was like for me. I actually switched to Treecko as my fave after this. I don't like Sceptile that much, but I find it more tolerable at least.

I can see your point. Doesn't help theres a sm4sh mod which replaces a falcon skin with a blaziken. I hate all the gen 7 starters (first time I ever boxed my starter, rowlett's mid evo) and kinda preferred the "it just gets bigger" idea. Venusaur is way more believable evo to bulbasuar while incineroar still looks like a fakemon to me.

Yeah im not the biggest fan of incineroar either. He doesnt even look like a fakemon too me. His design is just so cringey its insane to me how that got the greenlight. Like charizard, typhlosion blaziken infernape emboar delphox(the harshest decline) then the disgrace that is emboar ( lets make a machoke in a furry suit)
