have it based on stinging nettles and not too obvious that it's a fire type. designing it subtile is the key.

The first stage is a big jalapeno pepper Grass/Fire
The second stage is a small habenero pepper Grass/Fire
The third stage is a tiny ghost pepper with a large Sombrero with little second stage peppers hanging from the brim. Fire/Ghost

A Pumpkin Pokemon that turns into Fire/Grass when ability kicks in. (If it with Fire, absorbs attack, becomes Fire/Grass.) Loses Fire if hit with Water attack

A Drybrush Pokemon with similar ability, but activates from Physical attacks (doesn't absorb) or sunlight. Getting hit by fire will essentially be like Dry Skin effectiveness, however if it with fire while on Fire will heal it. Loses Fire it hit with Water attack.
