Azure Dreams is an old Konami franchise, an RPG roguelike sorta game released on PS1 where you can collect and fuse certain monsters you find in a tower.

play it, it's pretty unique. there was also a GBC release. PS1 game even got several waifus to choose from so it's a dating sim too.
