I know that YW has a very unfair bad rep in the west -especially on vp- but it's a legitimately great franchise and better yet, this particular spinoff, Yokai Watch Busters, it's one of my favourite games on 3DS and I would LOVE to play a Pokémon game with the same mechanics.

A bit in YW2 (way less RGN) and a lot in YW3. YW3 gameplay is light strategy on a 3x3 board and its the best iteration so far, really hope they keep pushing for that once it comes to the Switch with the 4.

Normally it would annoy me that they didn't just put this shit in the game to begin with, but from what I've seen, it was fucking bursting with content even before all the updates started.
I wish Pokemon did this.
