Why do faggots who defend Gen I designs insist that Grimer is based on classic Slime enemy when it clearly isn't? Every single instance since Gen I itself emphasizes that it's toxic waste given life, its Poison attributes and the fact that it's toxic has always been the main focus of its design, which is what Alolan Grimer focuses on as well

The fact that it's a slime is incidental, and Ditto fits that mold a lot better
