Look man, Steel types have been absolute cancer ever since Gen V, if not all the way back since they were introduced in Gen II. I'm tired of EVERY damn team having Steel types on it. It's time to stop.

You can remove 2 more resistances from Steel, and it would STILL have the most resistances of all 18 types.

I personally think Fairy is a better defensive type. It has two very uncommon weaknesses and key resistances.

Steel is weak to ground and fighting, both of those types hit 5 types SE each, the most out of any types so there's gonna be a lot Close combat and earthquakes ruin steel type's day. Not to mention Fire, which hit 4 types SE

I always used to think Steel having three weaknesses, all of which being common attacking types, was enough to balance it, but it's clear by now I was wrong. The fact is, Steel just has SO MANY resistances that it's invaluable.

There's hardly a pokémon out there who wouldn't benefit overall from having Steel as a secondary type. That just ain't right.

Aegislash is gamebreaking because of the type combination and ability, not because of steel alone.
mono steel types are always trash.
the type alone isn't good. it has the most common type weaknesses and very bad offensive.

Aegifuck is even the reason why steel got nerfed, nothing else.
