Among sex abuse and intellectual property theft scandals, his main claim to infame was his tendency to be a massive flamewar-inducing shill.

One lovely day on /vp/, some namefagging autist called Blue Man starts shit, insisting on siding with GCPM11 on his crap, so much so that anons speculate that Blue Man is actually GCPM.
Anons look up his name in the archives and find out that he's a total Gardevoir weeb, with sexy fanfics and a Deviantart.
Some his best "work" can still be found on Nyafuu.

There was this one guy, who claimed he had once made a really dumb post on /v/, back where the archives don't reach, and then "someone" just randomly had a screencap of his stupid comment and the response it got. Despite nobody ever having seen it before

Then people here started laughing at the screencap, but eventually, as the cap was discussed later, people pieced together that it probably didn't actually happen, and the screencap had been meddled with

Someone made a fake screencap, just for anonymous internet fame.
Let that sink in.
What else do you think some are wiling to do just for attention?

Personally I think stories can be entertaining even if fake (like half of the great stories posted on /tg/ are almost 100% likely fake) but if you try to push something as real and then it gets easily proven fake that just ruins the magic. And tripfags are almost always just trying to shit up threads.

And yeah, fake is alright, but it has to be either clearly fake, so it's a joke, or so minor that it doesn't matter if it's fake or not, like the anon who said he drummed his fingers at an octopus and it mimicked him
