There have been multiple threads about this same topic before. Primarina's theme is bubbles and its move is all about making bubbles. I would have preferred using Moonblast anyway.

Primarina's moves can also be boosted by Torrent, which is nice.
That makes Oceanic Operetta one of the most powerful moves in the game.

GF has no idea what to do with the Fairy type. Its design is so transparently top-down. It's like they felt obligated to make a brand new type, but they just shoehorned it in instead of developing a proper lore for it.

The same can be said about plenty of other types though. We still get arguments over what defines a ghost type, dragon type, grass type, etc.
