It would probably vary by what region you're in. But likely spring or summer.

probably spring, late march. its not too hot, still kinda cold some days. it gives you time to get a water or ice type pokemon to help you stay cool in the summer, and a fire type to stay warm as the weather cools off and winter is closer.

Winter, according to where I live. Fuck Summer and it's 90 degree bullshit.
