Pretty much because it looks like a furry. Give it a slight redesign, one that includes making the tuft up there look less like human hair, that's a start.

I like it, could be Furfrou's evolution

It doesn't look particularly inspired by anything and its toes look ugly. It's just a generic furry creature with an electric element slapped on in a way that doesn't look appealing.
