Why are people acting like US/UM are not Pokemon "Stars"? Stars was always just a place holder name.
>>32753120
Because the Moon isn't a Star
>>32753172
The Moon isn't a Star, but we are talking about ULTRA MOON here.
>>32753120
USUM is Pokémon Super Star Ultra.
>>32753120
That place holder name, ''Stars'' was actually just a fake rumor, that people liked and dubbed the third version as that, just like people though that the third version of BW was going to be ''Gray'' and XY was going to be ''Z''.
>>32753120
>placeholder name
The original rumor never said it was a codename and they also said it was a Switch game, it was 100% made up garbage
>>32753120
You also think BW2 are Pokemon "Gray", don't you? And that ORAS/SM are Pokemon "Z"?
>>32753314
Gray and Z makes sense but why did people start to associate Sun and Moon with Stars?
i think Galaxy or Space would be better name for a Sun and Moon third version.
>>32753219
Still not a star. It's still the moon. An Ultra version, but still the moon. Not a star.
>>32753120
It's not the name, it's that people wanted the next pokemon game on the Switch that didn't happen
Why are people acting like US/UM are not Pokemon "Penis"? Penis was always just a place holder name
>>32753172
your right the Moon is clouds
Eurogamer just made up the rumor because they were salty of sun and moon releasing 5 days late in Europe.
So said this right before the release to affect sales
But if USM disspoints in sales I can see them porting it to the switch
>>32753584
Or maybe even "Earth"
>>32754829
>the moon is clouds
They associated Stars with Switch
>>32753589
Stars was a placeholder name and does not exist.
>>32753589
but anon, the moon is stars!!!
>>32753584
There were a few other fake names thrown around, like "eclipse", but stars probably stuck because it's short and fits the "things in space" theme better than "Earth".
Asking why we didn't get Stars is like asking why we didn't get Rainbow
>>32755167
unless your uncle does literally work in game freak, you don't know the working title
>>32753172
but the Sun is
>>32754898
>Or maybe even "Earth"
