What else is new. Seal got best of both worlds as well movepool wise, it was bound to not fail. At least with the other starter type combinations, there's a bit more of a gamble and not perform as well as expected because anything can make it either shine or sink. Water/Fairy? It's a shoo-in regardless.

Except very few of those starters actually debuted in shit tier. Most of them got choked out by power creep over time, hell Sceptile used to be OU way back in ADV.
