People will say fairies, but it really isn't. Guzzlord simply isn't a good Pokemon. It has a movepool that screams offensive mon, but it has no way to boost its attack without Beast Boost, which is unreliable for its stat spread. It's stats scream defensive mon, but it has no utility moves to take care of it. All in all, it's just a better Wailord, but being a better Wailord doesn't exactly make you good, and that raw stats don't mean shit if you don't have the movepool to take advantage of it.

I have had limited success running full investment in both defences, with an Assault Vest. It works essentially as a beatstick that can force a trade with lots of shit, or serve as a meatshield pivot. It can only do it once, maybe pivot twice though, and is easily foiled by unexpected coverage or physical Stab SE attacks.

Because massive HP means very little if the defense stats are super low, and it doesn't have the offensive stats to do anything before the HP drains out. Which is funny since it's weak to most of the draining attacks.
