Because Game Freak is hell bent on making the games more handholdy and easier, even though the series was already casual and had difficulty perfectly suited towards a general audience.

Not only that, but now they're trying to push as much story as possible into the games. As a result the regions have gotten worse and less interesting than before, you're stopped by a character every time you enter a town, there are even less dungeons than before, and there is less room for exploration.

Allow the player to actually play the fucking game and explore more. But since this is building off of SM I doubt it.

3D. Like most franchises that go 3D, the first one is always shit in comparison.

The biggest problem is GF doesn't seem to learned anything and some how manages to give us less with each game. Like how they never carry over any of the good features form previous gens.

The Pokemon sprites are probably the easiest fix, as they made them way to complicated for what they are and used in. It would not only fix up the frame rate, but free up much needed space for more content.

Yes it would take time GF, but it is by far the easiest fix you could make. Other than learning how to program better like Iwata you lazy cunts.

That was the franchise when it just started. But just like a chain restraunt with every extension it gets cheaper and blander. The people that shit on gen 1 and 2 have to because they have to pretend the cookie cutter gameplay they've done over and over again is somehow an improvement from the original.
