I modified a report script in the late fall. Origianlly, it woule auto report a username from a pool of usernames from 50 different proxies. That was effective but still only accomplished in banning the the spoofed/botted accounts, not their "owner"

I added some lines in the script and made it so that I could input a username of the account I'm targeting and reference the usernames of however many accounts I want its reports to claim "they saw them logging out and into different accounts on their phone" - I had realised that multiaccounting was worse than spoofing in niantic's eyes.

To make things better, in March I forked a discreet git project that was intended to reverse search usernames by parsing gymhuntr that would return a list of gyms the username/trainer was in, and gym info. Its purpose was for a player to easily check on their gyms. However, as nice as it was in concept, its design was flawed, it relied/depended on someone having scanned the areas and update gymhuntr's database to be accurate and useful. I didn't need that, all I needed was the list of usernames in the gym to pull from to populate my pool of "reporters." I successfully got two mystic botters and 36 accounts btfo'd over the course of two weeks.

For the event, is it better to aim for a Great + First Throw or try to go for an excellent, risking the first catch and or any bonus?

Mathematically, great curve ball first throw is the same excellent curve on second attempt (50 + 10 + 50 + 100 = 210 = 100 + 10 + 100)

But realistically I cant count on getting excellents and if i wait too long i might not get any bonus. Is sacraficing a surer first throw worth it?

Also nanab vs razz, razz wins out because the Nice + First Throw bonus out scores the Great throw on a second attempt.


Lastly, how the fuck do you consistently get an excellent curve on a pidgey or rat? Tbqvh i encounter other mons far more often and find it easier to get a Great on a yellow circle than any bonus on curved toss at a pidgey.

Made it to Level 25 today, not have max potions cluttering up the ol' bag. Can somebody explain how to use Lures or should I just toss mine? I've gone to several pokestops and tried to use them only to be denied, and not the stops were not currently in lure mode. Also what's the general rule of thumb for evolving pokemon? Is there more to the decision than having a perfect stat or two (or three)?

You have to click on the spin, then click on the small white bar to apply the lure. When evolving pokes, try to have at least two good IV ones you want to evolve, then decide if you want to use them for attacking or gym sitting

Max potions are good
Use lures where other people use lures, more spawns than on a stop that's totally isolated
Evolve if you don't have it and it sucks, if you plan on using it to kill gyms its moveset and attack stat are most important so evolve to see if you roll the right set, for Pokémon that are good and can defend well you want 90%+ IV ratio meaning you're likely to have two perfect stats or at least in the top category (>80%) your professor appraises it as, and these are the ones you want to put stardust into. Make sure for defensive movesets you have a mix of a fast move that charges fast and a charge move that either hits really fast, causes the game to glitch on older phones (Water Pulse, Psychic, Dazzling Gleam, even Hydro Pump), or hits 2/3 times.

Ohh, that's how lures are used. And they stack? I'll keep mine around then. I've defeated a single pokemon in a gym before but other than that, gyms/battling are a mystery to me. So I know that certain pokemon only show up in certain weather or near water or whatever, but do certain pokemon tend to spawn more in one location regardless of this tendency over other areas?
For example, if Pokemon A and Pokemon B tend to spawn in parks, could Pokemon A be more likely to spawn in one particular particular park than Pokemon B?

How many 'biomes' are there any way? I'm especially curious if there are particular places where a person might generally look for electric and poison (trash/pollution related like koffing or muk) pokemon.

Used to travel and play a lot with my brother during winter. Found out he spoofs. He said spoofing ruined the fun for him and he slowly stopped playing with me. Kinda lost my motivation playing because of that.
My sister started playing too and we had about two days a week we'd go travel town to play.
However pollen count got high and we both started getting sick just by having a window open a little, much less actually going out to play. I haven't been able to play outside my home for awhile now. Most of my work is from home as well so it keeps me indoors more. We both take medicine for it but at the best we just feel shitty instead of getting really sick.
Thought maybe this is why people spoof. My phone is already updated so I dint think I'll be tempted to cheat anyways.

i think it would be cool if the pikachu and raticate badges actually boosted the CP of those pokemon that you had (but I get the feeling that this is too complicated of a mechanism for the game to handle).

it would also be neat if the backpacker medal increased XP gain from visiting stops and/or the evolution one increased XP gain from evolving--stuff like this would really speed up the leveling process (which they've already shown they're willing to do by adding XP bonuses for accurate throws and extra XP for streaks).

I'll give most people the benefit of the doubt but I have a hard time believing that 10 level 35 plus players with Asian handles are all riding around at 3 AM in some full size van, taking over every gym in a ten mile radius. Especially when I watched one gym in the middle of a field get assraped and Blissey stacked in a matter of minutes with no other human anywhere nearby.
