As a fan of IV gen and after the atrocity that is ORAS why do you guys want a DP remake?

With neo GF in charge its almost guaranteed to be shit, hell we might even get the slow molasses gameplay like the originals for the "authenticity" since 3rd versions dont exist to them anymore

This might be obvious but im just putting this out there

All said remakes come with at least 2 generations from the handheld console theyre from. My guess is that they wanted to make sure their remakes would differ greatly from the original games so hardware wouldve had to be more advanced

GB - RBGY
GBC - GSC
GBA -R(B)G REMAKES ; RSE
DS - GS(C) REMAKES ; DPP ;(BW B2W2)
3DS - RS(E) REMAKES ; XY; (SM)
SWITCH? - DP(P) REMAKES? ; (BW B2W2 REMAKES???)

Everything seems to be decided on hardware but theyre gonna hit a brick wall shortly that is called the 5th gen remakes. Off course this doesnt mean gf WILL execute it like this but so far, this pattern seemed more sensible to me, thoughts?

It's one remake per console. Simple as that. DP remakes will be on whatever the succesor to the 3DS is. Maybe it's the switch, maybe it's some other new console. It's possible that it will be in 2019, but it would just be a coincidence.

It's looking pretty likely at this point. If the games don't skip a year, gen 8 will probably be in 2018 or perhaps they'll keep gen 7 going through the next couple years (I kind of doubt this as recent gens have been pretty short). Either way remakes in 2019 is a good possibility.
