I grew up with a gameboy color, so I was disappointed that it's either a grayscale or a green-dot matrix appearance for the 3ds release.

It's disappointing that even emulators that anyone can find online can add color to it. If nostalgia fags don't want color on R/B, they should've included an off button.

But nobody would've done that because having color is how most people got into Gen 1 outside of the initial Gen 1 fags.

emulators use SGB mode to add color, which is programmed in the ROM

the GBC boot ROM is what has the code for games to have special colors on a GBC and GBA, not the games themselves

Incredibly upset, it feels like a huge slap in the face and like they're refusing to acknowledge she exists. I agree with you about how it wouldn't canalize sales of GS, plenty of people also bought RB even though Yellow was available. Maybe the phone thing people are talking about is the real reason it's not being released but it still feels wrong, maybe they actually do want to ignore Kris for some reason. Sure I can just install Crystal with CFW but just seeing her being acknowledged would be nice.
