The problem is that HGSS are way superior than GSC, they even have the GB Sounds. The only reason you would buy VC GS is for exclusive TMs like Elemental Punches and Iron Tail, and for Gen II Pokémon with HAs. (Most notable Raikou, Entei, Suicune with their shitty Inner Focus, and HA Lugia and Ho-Oh with more maneagable Nature than in Dream Radar)

- Mankey line (Defiant)
- Growlithe line (Justified)
- Spinarak line (Sniper)
- Gligar (Poison Heal if evolved into Gliscor)
- Mantine (Water Veil)
- Teddiursa line (Honey Gather, Unnerve if evolved into Ursaring)

Silver
- Meowth line (Unnerve, Rattled in Alola Form)
- Vulpix line (Drought, Snow Warning in Alola Form)
- Ledyba line (Rattled, Iron Fist if evolved into Ledian)
- Delibird (Insomnia)
- Skarmory (Weak Armor)
- Phanpy line (Sand Veil)

Note 1: Because of their colors, Teddiursa and Phanpy were swapped in the International versions.

Note 2: It haven't been confirmed if VC GS Pokémon will have HA like VC Gen 1 but there is a high chance it also happens.
