Glaceon has a base Defense of 110.

Worst defensive typing in the game, shit HP (65) and low speed (65), and they give it 110 Defense.

Steelix's attack is only 85, which is a pretty big buff to onix's "weaker than joltik" 45. They could both still do with a bst increase, though.

Discounting Megas, only three things have a higher Defense than Avalugg: Regirock and Steelix at 200 and Shuckle at 230.
Also, Bastiodon has a higher Special Defense than Araquanid: 138 to 132.

Jigglypuff and Entei both have 115 HP, and that's higher than every starter.

Buzzwole is the only Bug type with over base 100HP, or even over base 90. The next highest are Yanmega's 86 and Volcarona's 85.

Tsareena has more defense and HP than Araquanid.

If you look at every fully evolved Fighting type in Gen 7 (Crabominable, Bewear, Passimian, Kommo-o, Pheromosa, and Buzzwole), Kommo-o has the lowest attack of them all at 110. This also means it ties with Gumshoos, making the pseudolegend and common mammal have the same attack.

Cryogonal is faster than Garchomp.

Changing the BST of pokemon would just make catching any other pokemon pointless outside of getting one for each type, because every pokemon would be the same. Some pokemon were just meant to be shitmons, and that's how the world goes.

"Unlocking Potential" is nonsense, just use a new Evolutionary stone like the Ground Stone or the Ore Stone or something and if you don't want people getting it until post game just make it cost BP in battle facility.

No reason Steelix can't evolve again. Sure, it has a mega, but even that isn't enough. Just say the mega stone works for both Steelix and its evolution, grants the same stat increases and ability changes and everything.

But, I've always thought megas were somewhat of a mistake and most if not all of them should've been regular evolutions.
