Swanna any gud? I'd like a water type but I didn't pick Oshawot, I hate Tympole and I already used Frillish and Basculin.
I'm using Swanna on White 2 but I can't really comment on how good it is since I haven't had much reason to use it yet.
For in-game play? Sure, it's fine.
It literally does not matter, you can beat the games with any Pokemon that's available to you.

I'm playing SMT Nocturne.
Is Swanna any gud?

You can, but there are a handful of Pokemon that tend to make for an unpleasant experience. Pichu and Azurill are great examples. You can find them early in some games, but the damn things won't evolve until somewhere in the mid 20s unless you go out of your way to grind their friendship. There are also those damn Pokemon whose levelup set consists mainly of mediocre normal attacks (electric types in the older generations were notorious for this).
You can theoretically beat the game with 6 Unown, but there are still Pokemon I really wouldn't recommend to people unless they want to frustrate themselves.
Z-Mirror Move is stronk :^)

Yes. It has a nice MP pool, and learns fog breath naturally. Zio is infrequently a huge problem, and honestly once you pop off your breaths, it can die for all you care.
Coincidentally, it easily fuses directly into its replacement, Nidoqueen, by fusing it with a Magmar or a Machoke, who appreciates getting the Fog Breath and Null Ice skills off Swanna
Yeah in game it's awesome and learns lots of good hms and tms
In competitive it's ok.
