Take B2W2 off that list. Those were sequels. They had an actually completely different story, not "same story but tweaked a little bit".

And the thing that makes people not want to defend USUM is that there's two games. If this was just released under one third version game (like all the others on your list aside from the remakes), there wouldn't be so much hate. The feeling is that they're not selling us a third version like Emerald or Platinum, but that they're trying to sell us the same games all over again.
