I hope they have different Alolan formes, like I'd use an Alolan Johto Starter for sure. Gen II VC is coming out alongside it to parallel Gen I VC last year with Alolan variants of Kanto mons.

I actually have no idea. I've done 2 playthroughs of Sun and I've used everything I wanted to try out as well as all 3 of the starters.
Primarina will be my starter again since it's my favorite, but other than that I guess I won't plan my team for the first time in years and just catch whatever I find.

There's a lot of cool looking mons i didn't get the chance to use before in my playthroughs. Not using a starter because i already used them all already. (used rowlet in the original playthrough and i used a nature bred adament litten and a soft rested female popolio for my current run through i started a couple days ago)

First playthrough I chose Litten but wound up boxxing it for AshGreninja.

This future playthrough I want to use Midnight Lycanroc (Will catch a Rockruff in Sun and trade it to a friend with moon so they can evolve it), and a bunch of the Alola forms I didn't use.

Also playthrough with Rowlet not evolving so he can be my comfy birb companion.

This was my postgame team in Moon.
During the game I had Incineroar over Salazzle and the A-Golem was various other standins.

Named them all after Disney characters last time.
I have a rule of never using the same team twice in the games, so I'll need to switch it all up. I hope they change up the pokedex a bit (add more past pokemon, maybe new megas).

I'm gonna name all my Ultra Sun mon after Cartoon Network/Hannah Barbara characters.
