well duh. they held off on all the good stuff for third versions. if you have half a brain, then youd be disheartened by the inevitable third version and maybe not buy either if the initial versions armed with the knowledge that they are designed to be obsolete. it's hard to get away with this nowadays with people smartening up to this shit

i greatly prefer sequels, but somehow SM seemed more barren as initial games compared to anything else out there with a third version. likely because the sequel bait is so obviously hamfisted that it feels insulting. they know i and many others will buy it
