Op here, I made this thread then went to bed and forgot about it last night so I'm just reading all my (You)s now.

I genuinely thought Darmanitan was a single stage Pokemon, probably for years. I don't know when exactly I forgot about whatever it's prevo is called existed.

Also I didn't skip gen five, gen five was pretty cool. I didn't play the sequels though.
