Nothing in gen 1 had good movesets from the go, legendary birds at least stab moves to work with. Rhyhorn line learned nothing but fucking normal type moves.

gen 1 was kinda hilarious in it's movesets
like how only 4 out of 11 rock types learned a rock move by leveling up, and half the rock types in the game were incapable of learning a rock move all together (none of the fossil 'mons could learn a rock move in gen 1 be it by leveling up or tm)
