I got out of yugioh cards when they started banning certain cards from tournaments. As far as I'm concerned, if the pokemon can learn the move legally, it shouldn't be banned. Everything has a counter.

Yeah everything has a counter but that doesn't mean it should be allowed. During vgc 2015 every Pokémon was allowed except for cover legendary and event exclusive Pokémon. What ended up happening was that every used the exact same team with a minor change. When you let broken Pokémon they centralize and cause that to happen.

Not sure if you have noticed but ou rules were meant to be usable on cart. The only bans/clauses that don't work on cart is sleep clause. Everything else is possible if there is a neutral person checking both teams before the match.
