Gen 4 was a mistake.
Unholy trio of ugly and badly designed games which spawned the vilest sub-fandom the videogame world has ever known: Sinnohfetuses.
Callous, devious, shit tasted little rats with no shred of dignity entirely focused at belittling other gens to hide the putridness of their own.
The Pokemon franchise ultimately comes down to this: the final battle against Sinnohfetuses. If Gamefreak gives in to their demands and concedes them remakes, we're all doomed.

An era of ugly designs, useless legendaries, terrible crossgen evos, poorly though regions with bad type distribution and unspeakable slowness will be ushered upon the Pokemon world again if we don't stop them.
