No, I know that. But I think if both parents of the same species know a move, including move tutor moves, the baby will, too. I may be wrong on that though since I've never tried it, so that's why I said maybe.

Also, I'm pretty sure if you go to the move relearner, it should still be in the list after you deleted it, since it was there when you brought it in from 6th gen and SM had to acknowledge the move in your moveset. Again, never tried this myself, but I think that's how the mechanics work.

You've got a while to experiment before any new games come down the pipeline. Just throwing those out there.

I think you're confused
If the parents are the same species and they both know a level up move that the child can have, then the child will know that move as an egg move.

e.g. if I breed two Ivysaur with Leech Seed, the Bulbasaur baby will hatch with Leech Seed because Leech Seed is a level up move for Bulbasaur. If I breed 2 Swampert with Earthquake, the baby Mudkip will not have Earthquake because Earthquake is not a level-up move for Mudkip, even though it is for Swampert.

Alternatively, from Gens 2-4 a father could pass on TM moves to its children so maybe you're thinking of that
