What I recommend is working on your lines/pencil holding (as your lines are shaky and not planned out) and seeing objects in a 3D manner (as your drawing lacks volume.) Fundamental grinding sucks but once you get the hang out it, things get a whole lot easier to draw. Cute things tend to be more round use circles. Copy some artists that you look up to and figure out why they draw the way they do. I reccommend Kanako Eo to copy if you're going for cute pokemon: https://pkmncards.com/artist/kanako-eo/

I tend to chicken scratch a lot digitally because of the lack of proper feedback from the tablet compared to that pencil-on-paper feeling. I'll try to get better at it and watch more videos on both that and volume. Thanks a ton, anon

Blue is: study delphox a bit more, see how fluid the lines are and stuff, also muzzle is a bit more pointy, enhance shoulder fur and ear fur should be more fluid
Also don't be afraid to draw hands always draw hands whenever you can
Red and green: make pose less stiff, bend that back, make torso all curvy and stuff
work on lines a bit, try your best to draw without lifting your pen much (it's HARD at first but if you keep practicing you'll get good, remember the movement is all in the shoulder, I recommend practicing on A3 sheets) also depending on what program you're using you might have a stabilizer, you probably wanna learn to use that

The lines help a LOT, specially with pinpointing the stiff pose problem. I usually draw delphox's hands, but I made the drawing too big and didn't want to bother bother resizing it and changing the pencil size (autodesk sketchbook tablet uses a slider instead of numbers, so it's a bitch to find exact sizes) to match and keep going from the cutoff point. The blue lines also highlight some oddities I noticed but couldn't quite sort out in its overall upper body area, specially the muzzle. Again, thanks a million for going the extra mile to help me improve anon. I've been trying to translate body forms into shapes recently like the other anon sujested, but I couldn't quite make the face out properly in size

Try lots of different ways to get to one result
Like some people translate the body into 3D shapes but that's doesn't work good for me unless I have to draw complicate shapes or shapes that needs to be more straight
When drawing people/mons I just draw curves and circles, still gonna use straight lines for hands and sometimes when things have to bend a certain way, also good to check that hips and shoulders are at a proper height and they're good for checking simmetry and perspective too
Some people start sketching with blobs of colors you could give that one a shot too

If you're not already aware, flipping the canvas is another good way to refresh your eyes and spot mistakes. Additionally, even if you're not aiming for realism, having a photo reference can help you ground your drawing more and make it more believable. Take picture related and notice how pokemon seem like they're actually laying on something even though there's nothing drawn. It helps with stuff like that.

Thanks for the input, anon. I wanted to use more faded and washed out colors for Sinnoh because of the cold climate and snow that's more prevalent in Platinum. I'll be sure to make Unova more vibrant. I don't mean to be a shameless self-promoter (which I am, but that's besides the point) but here's a link to my deviantart, which has my other Pokemon maps. I think Hoenn was the closest I got to saturation. Unova may have some of that, but Kalos will definitely need it. The official map for Kalos looks like it was done with pastels, so I might as well try to keep that feeling.
